International Centre of Political and Social Studies was created as a NEOUТs structural subdivision.
THE CENTREТS GOALS:
Accumulation of knowledge in working in the field of social security (social services) in the European North, as well as its introduction into research and educational programs and projects;;
Organization of an active integrated system of information exchange while creating projects, as well as joint work of universities, institutions, academies and other research organizations from Nordic countries and the North-West of Russia;;
Creation of conditions to organize training and retraining of specialists in the field of social work;;
Conducting sociological surveys by the International Centre of Political and Social Studies at PetrSU.;
THE CENTREТS OBJECTIVES:
Establishing close contacts with higher schools and research institutions of Nordic countries;
Organization of and holding seminars;
Creation and organization of distance learning courses;
Participation in scientific and practical Russian and foreign conferences.
THE CENTREТS PARTNERS:
The Centre is developing extensive scientific relations with Russian and foreign partners, in Nordic countries, in the first place.
